Eduard grew up in Latvia and graduated from Baltic International Academy, where he studied Digital Visualisation. Eduard's father had a Zenit 11 film camera and it was Eduard's first experience with photography. He has been teaching photography at his school as an extra curriculum activity. At that time he also started to practice photography at school and public city events. After graduating from school he started to work as a freelance photographer. During that time has worked with many local news agencies and magazines, such as Subbota and Delfi Latvia.

Since 2010 he worked as an official photographer of the “New Wave Stars” musician competition for three years.

During that time, Eduard has signed a freelance contract with the Russian newspaper “Kommersant”.
Additionally, he has been a contract photographer for Rīgas Viļņi since 2010 for six years.
At the same time, he also managed to work with SCANPIX news agency as a photographer and local SCANPIX representative in Latvia, later contracted by TT News Agency as well.

One of the most impactful passions for Eduard is nature. That is why his photography is frequently featured in GEO.ru, National Geographic Latvia on Facebook, and Spaceweather website.
